Material ID and Visual

In the Ragdoll engine, a voxel's Material ID is its "DNA." It tells the engine what that voxel is made of and how it should behave in the physical world.

Modding Restriction

Note: Modders cannot create new Material IDs. You are limited to modifying the properties of the existing IDs (0-31) to suit your needs.

Material ID Table

Below is a simplified reference for all defined Material IDs. Use this to choose the best base material for your modded blocks.

Legend

  • Hardness: How hard the block is (Higher number = Harder to destroy).
  • Metallic: Visual material type (Metal or Non-Metal).
  • Reflectivity: How shiny the surface is (High, Medium, Low).
  • Flammability: How easily it catches fire (Flammable, Resistant, Fireproof).
  • Poisonable: Whether it can be affected by poison/acid (Yes, No).
